If you wonder whether a sign-seller can legally install and service electrical signs in Texas, visit the TDLR Website. Enter "Electricians” in the "Inquire by License Type” box and the name of the sign business. If they are not licensed, they cannot perform the work.

Someone can sell you signs but not be licensed to install or service them. Unless the electrical signs are UL-listed or ETL-listed, they cannot be legally installed in Texas under state consumer protection safety laws. Monument Sign Permits in Celina

Monument signs are the primary form of freestanding commercial identification sign allowed in Celina. Their size, number, design, materials, and placement depend on the type and size of the development.

• A standard monument sign may have a maximum sign area of 60 square feet.
• A standard monument sign may have a maximum overall height of 8 feet.
• One monument sign is generally allowed per lot or pad site.
• A corner lot may generally have one additional monument sign on its other street frontage.
• The sign structure and base must be masonry.
